Posted By karenrose on May 28, 2009
The launch of Mormon Radio, a new official radio station of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at radio.lds.org, includes an exclusive interview with Rome Italy Stake President Massimo De Feo, who discusses the Church in Italy and the reaction of the Saints to the Rome Italy Temple annoucement.
The Rome Italy Temple is currently in the design and planning phases. No groundbreaking date has been announced.
INTERVIEW WITH PRESIDENT DE FEO:
If anyone would like to submit photos as the temple is in progress, we’d love to post them with a statement regarding your feelings about the upcoming House of the Lord in Rome, Italy. Please send to Karen at email@moregoodfoundation.org.

Hi- I have two daughters that served missions in Rome and Palermo, Italy about 5-7 years ago. I am half Italian myself. We are very interested and excited about this new temple being built there. However, we can’t seem to find any “current” information about the Rome, Temple and what stages or progress is being made toward its building. Can you give me any information? Thanks, much, Louise McArthur – We live in Ogden, Utah. Thanks!

Hi Louise How wonderful to meet you and learn of your daughter’s service and your Italian ancestry. We’ve not received much more, recently, on the temple but I will do some checking, as we’re all so eager to know the latest. I’ll get back with you or post any new info on the site if I find anything. We welcome users and members from Italy to send us updates. Thanks, Karen
